GeoViet Consulting participated at the 3rd Vietnam National GIS Conference 2011 in Da Nang city on December 17-18, 2011 and presented two papers on "GIS applications for urban infrastructure management in Vietnam" and "Utilizing MODIS data for monitoring agricultural seasonal patterns, land cover mapping and land use change study in the Red River Delta during 2008 - 2010".
GeoViet Consulting participated and exhibited at the Vietnam ESRI User Conference (VUC 2011) in Hanoi on November 02, 2011. It is the first time as EPN partner, GeoViet Consulting participated in VUC - the largest annual event in Vietnam to help Vietnamese customers to assess to and to apply most up-to-date GIS technologies in their work and business.

In July 2011, GeoViet Consulting has completed and transferred for operation the Web-based Database for Investment in Rural Water Supply and Sanitation sector (http://rwss-investment.org.vn) with online data collection and webmapping functions to support to the RWSSP CU in coordinating partners efforts in the sector. This Phase 2 development includes additional data integration and report generation functions and RWSS M&E indicators as well as data on international support for for RWSS.
In June 2011, GeoViet Consulting has completed and transferred the final results on utilizing MODIS time series data for studying agricultural seasonal patterns, land cover mapping and land use change study in the Red River Delta during 2008 - 2010 for the National Institute for Agriculture Planning and Projection (NIAPP)...
Since March 2011, GeoViet Consulting is cooperating with the Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Resources Geography to implement the research project "Comprehensive study on using GIS technology for the Binh Duong province ".
Since March 2011, GeoViet Consulting continues to support DANIDA-MOC SDU Component "Environmentally Sustainable Development in Poor Urban Areas" to implement "Data surveying, collecting and building the national Web-based GIS database for management of urban infrastructures and industrial zones - Expanding for the whole urban systems of 4 target provinces of Nghe An, Ha Nam, Phu Tho and Thai Nguyen"...
In December 2010, GeoViet Consulting completed and transferred the National Web-based GIS database for management of urban infrastructures and industrial zones with integrated GIS databases of 5 cities in the Cuu Long River Delta namely Ca Mau, Rach Gia, Tra Vinh, Ben Tre and My Tho. These activities under the framework of the DANIDA-MOC SDU Component "Environmentally Sustainable Development in Poor Urban Areas" aiming at strengthening the MOC capacity in applying GIS technology in government management functions....
Since May 2010, GeoViet Consulting started providing digital data service including database design, data surveying, digitizing/drafting, data conversion and migration and data integration to international and domestic customers...
Since September 2009, GeoViet Consulting has designed and developed the Web-based Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Database System for "The Government-UN Joint Programme to Fight Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (JP)". In September 2010, the web-based information system operates online (http://www.ctc-cumgiacam.info.vn), which includes online AHI data collection and interactive web mapping of AHI outbreaks....
In October 2009, GeoViet Consulting has deployed the Forest Fire Early Warning system for operation by the Forest Protection Department (FPD). This web-based information system - developed by GeoViet Consulting - routinely provides daily warning based on meteorological conditions in forms of list of categorized risk areas and online maps.

Since May 2007, GeoViet Consulting started to provide technical support to the Forest Protection Department (FPD) in operating their near-realtime automatic MODIS fire information system. The Automatic Hotspots Mapper - developed by GeoViet Consulting - is routinely uploading onto the FPD Website fire information on forest maps and maintaining fire database for subsequent query and statistical analysis. The Vietnam FireWatch system is now in operation, which has online interactive forest fire database, interactive Web mapping and includes more fire data from NOAA-x and FY-1b satellite...
